MCP Codex collects only minimal data necessary to maintain service reliability and security. Standard web server logs record anonymized IP addresses, browser user-agents, and visited resource routes. We do not require registration for public guides, tools, or machine-readable feeds.

All interactive utilities on MCP Codex—including the MCP Config Generator, Security Linter, and JSON-RPC Protocol Playground—execute entirely within your browser runtime. Any API keys, bearer tokens, or database connection URIs entered into input fields remain strictly in client-side memory and are never transmitted to or logged on our servers.

We use necessary technical cookies to remember client UI preferences (such as selected platform tab or dark mode theme). Aggregated and anonymized telemetry helps us identify broken links, measure page load performance, and optimize technical documentation for developer workflows.
